About the Melanchthon CD:

The Melanchthon House is available on CD-ROM as a virtual museum. All the facts and details about the Melanchthon House, which was redesigned in 2003, can be found on this CD-ROM in German. A virtual tour through the halls and rooms of the Melanchthon House provides some insight into the life and work of the Reformer and scholar Philipp Melanchthon. The CD-ROM also contains information on the history of Melanchthon’s home town Bretten, samples from the extensive collection of prints, coins and pictures and more than 2,200 pages culled from Melanchthon’s correspondence with his contemporaries. It also contains an extensive index of cities and names and a virtual tour through the Melanchthon House in the twin town of Wittenberg.
